OUR DESIGNER FOR A DAY EXPERIENCE

 

We created our designer for a day service for clients who need help furnishing their homes but are nervous to make mistakes they may later regret. With this quick turnaround service, you’ll know exactly how to pull your room together.

Starting with both designers in your home (either in-person or virtually) and finishing with a comprehensive detailed design plan, you’ll have everything you need to confidently implement your design as your schedule and budget allow.

 

OUR PROCESS

Step One: Homework

We believe communication is the key to good design! Before your session, you’ll complete a comprehensive design questionnaire to hone in on your goals, priorities, challenges, and style so we can dive right in during your session.

Using your online project board (Don’t worry! That’s about the extent of our tech!), we’ll review your inspiration images and pictures of the room you’d like help with. This is also where we centralize all communication about your project so our entire team can jump in to help when needed.

For virtual design sessions, you’ll receive easy step-by-step instructions for how to confidently measure your space (so we can prepare a furniture layout for your room).

 

Step Two: Design Session

Whether virtually or in person, you’ll spend up to 1.5 hours with both designers in your home (if virtually this is done via Zoom). This time can be used to review items you’re considering, talk through ideas, and discuss layout options for your room.

After the “in-home” portion of the session, the designers will work behind the scenes to prepare your design and pull specific pieces/fabrics/wallpapers from our studio.

*The Designer for a Day service is for single room furnishing projects only. If you need help with renovation or new build selections, please see our Full Service Design.

Step Three: Your Design Plan

After your session, you’ll receive your complete design plan with specific suggestions for your room items PLUS a virtual design presentation where the designers explain the reasoning behind their choices. Everything will be loaded into your online project board so you can shop the links for any retail items suggested, place orders through our team for any trade items suggested, see paint colors, and view our specific recommendations for your room(s).

You will be able to confidently put your room together without making any costly mistakes.

 
 
 

Step Four: Design Support

After your session, you’ll receive designer support for the items discussed in your session and provided in your design plan.

For suggestions made that are for purchase through our studio, our team will handle the ordering for you and will update you on the status of your items.
